‘The Bear Cave’ is a Men’s Community Rooted in Kung Fu and the Internal Arts as a Path of Mental, Physical and Spiritual Development.
Bear Cave Pillars
MEDITATION
The foundation of all internal work. You will develop the capacity to engage with with pain, irritation, anxiety, frustration and all other sources of discomfort and dis-ease in your physical body. This is a sustainable path to clearing outdated systems, patterns and traumas in the body and energetic fields.
BODY CONDITIONING
Transform weakness into strength. Learn to use simple exercises to make yourself impervious to injury, less likely to bruise or break. These practices will not only improve your physical condition, but assist in raising the capacity of your energetic systems. Basically, become superhuman, sustainably.
QIGONG
When we feel tight, resistant or stuck in our lives, we can locate these tensions in our movement patterns, and begin to open up the spaces that are holding us prisoner; emotionally, physically and spiritually. Qigong is so much more than forms, it is a lifelong friend who supports the softening of connective tissues for expanded fluid movement and the development of the body, mind and soul.
SEXUAL ENERGY
A fundamental pillar to all high level spiritual systems, this is where we learn to seal up the leaky energy in our lives, rewire our habituation for instant gratification, and build internal pressure to be used in the healing of our body, our mind, our relationships, and our communities.
LIVING TAOIST PHILOSOPHY
Confusion, chaos, suffering, expectation, attachment, imbalance, pain… These are realities that are born from resistance to a natural order and flow. Taoist wisdom teaches us to work with life and not against the currents. We will be in ongoing exploration of how the principles of Taoism can support the evolution of our consciousness, our capacity for constant change, and the present needs of this world for Men who are prepared to serve.
SERVICE
Without relationships and community in which we can be of service. Masculine energies are led easily to darkness, confusion and despair. In the Bear Cave Community, we are holding each other accountable to be in service to our loved ones and our communities, local and global. We do this by learning to feel more deeply; developing ourselves from the inside out, integrating the Pillars of Kung Fu into our lives.
Community Support & Accountability
We are more potent in aligned community than we can be as “lone- wolves”. Study and practice alongside other Men, who you may come to know as brothers. Our development as men is catapulted when we train together, share our challenges and successes, our curiosities and insights. Join an on-going Whatsapp community chat for connection, accountability, Q&A, and suggested study material from Adam and the training team.
Live Weekly Group Study & Practice
We will meet once a week to study and train as a group, led by Adam Bear. There will be opportunities to offer up suggestions for study material, learning new exercises and forms. The ongoing, regular sessions give us the opportunity to go deep on form sets, and more advanced practices. Class recording are available with membership.
Personal Mentorship and Guidance
Develop a long term relationship with this community of warm-hearted men. As you deepen into this community, you will receive personal reflections on your progress and challenges as well as perspectives and insight for both short and long range development, depending on your goals and intentions. We want you to feel held in safety and also encouraged to meet new edges as you open up to the fullness of your power.

The Kung Fu path offers both short-term growth in awareness and a long term system of development on many levels. By engaging more directly with physical sensations of the Internal and External spaces, we can open up to the energetic information that supports our physical reality. We are multi-dimensional beings who are designed for the process of refinement; this is an alchemical process, that requires effort, commitment and presence. As a community, The Bear Cave acknowledges that a culture of “quick-fixes” and “bio-hacking” alone will not be sustainable over the course of a long life or multi-cultural evolution. Therefor, we seek to deepen our relationship with the many layers of our experience in order to develop the whole human being, one who is alive with personal power, connected to all of life and prepared to serve our communities.

FAQs
-
No. You can watch the recorded video’s and have access to the entire library.
-
You can cancel anytime! You will no longer have access to the library or community chat.
-
Privacy is always important to us, but because this is a closed circle, we feel it is important to know who is showing up in community together.
-
As long as you inform the team, we can offer suggestions for variations so as not to stress the injury.
-
Fantastic! This means you will have less material to unlearn. The modern “New Age” movement misleads many down dead-end paths and we sometimes have to unlearn practices that are either not supportive at all or may be causing us problems.
